When the bed is in use, there is no need to remove anything from the cabinet top. You will simply need to move items toward the back of the cabinet, lift the flip top, and then open the slide bolts to release the front of the bed. Meaning you can have pictures, baskets and even TVs on top of the cabinet bed and never have to remove them!
